Sustainable Stores in Amsterdam, (Source: bartsboekje.com)
When you shop for food, many hidden problems can appear: plastic, unfair pay, and harm to animals. But in Amsterdam, there are small stores that try harder. These shops work for a more sustainable world. Here are three interesting stores:
- Little Plant Pantry, https://littleplantpantry.com/| Little Plant Pantry is a small, charming shop. They focus on minimum waste. You can bring your own containers. Products are organic and plant based. They sell food, drinks, herbs, and eco products. They also have a little food corner and a small garden inside. Address: Bosboom Toussaintstraat 45-H, Amsterdam.
- True Price | True Price is a concept that shows the real cost of food — including environmental and social costs.
- In a store called De Aanzet, the price you see on the receipt can include the “true price.” For example, a banana might cost more when all effects are counted.
