Favourite things to do with kids in Ams!

From hanging out at Monk Bouldering to the STRAAT museum, to dinosaurs by the beach: Annemarie’s favourite family spots in and around Amsterdam …

Stories included …

• Vrog underground trampoline park, they also have a big space for parkour and they offer lessons
• Monk is a bouldering hall in Noord that has an attacked cafe/bar where you can watch everyone climb, which is a lot of fun.
• Close to Monk is PARK Amsterdam, an indoor skate park where there’s also skateboarding lessons for kids starting 6 year old. They have an
• attached burger restaurant with windows that let you watch the skaters.
• Graffiti museum Straat, next to the IJhallen, very impressive. It’s so big and colourful that kids will be impressed too.
• Verbroerderij is the home to two wonderful big pigs and has a lot of sandy room to roam for kids and good snacks. Sometimes there’s yoga and live music.
• Take the tram, and ferry, or take the train to the beach and go to Dino World in Zandvoort.
• Pathe at Buikslotermeerplein has a nice arcade and a few restaurants.
• Eye filmmuseum has a lot of activities and viewings for kids, as well as the Wereldmuseum and of course the Scheepvaartmuseum.
• For the summer: the Vondelpark openluchttheater with free concerts.
