🎶 Sound of Hope music track from Amsterdam, for Monday 7 September 2026

This month we play, You by Amsterdam-based trio, Délage. You can hear from band member, Till, as he gives a special message for Sound of Hope this September about the meaning behind their latest album.

About the band: Délage makes dark, motorik dream pop, singing in English, German and Dutch. Their latest album, Another Day, had a release party at OCCII in Amsterdam this June, and the LP is available through bandcamp or bought in a hand full of record stores (Red Light Records, Concerto, San Serriffe and Flesch Records in Amsterdam.

In the words of Aidan Wall (rewire Festival): “Another Day uses the holes that appear in one’s life-fabric as a frame through which to bear witness to timeless themes like love, hierarchies, aging, precarity, and escapism … From within the shadowy uncertainty of modern life, Délage shine a beam outwards with their melodies, their words, their songs – each is glinted with a sense of hope and potential and lights the way to somewhere new.”
